We know the weight of the world feels heavier than ever right now: the raids, the political warfare, the daily reminders of the horrors that persist around us. These are not new issues but rather old wounds that have shaped America’s foundations. For many of us, witnessing these brutal acts is bringing about a radicalizing effect. 

Today, July 4th, we release our latest issue of Night Terror Magazine, which also marks one full year since we launched this project. We want to celebrate, but to share our utmost honesty, our team carries grief that makes celebrating feel complicated. Still, this past year has been filled with incredible growth, connections we never imagined, and opportunities to uplift underrepresented voices in horror. Even in these heavy times, we want to remind you that we persist too.

Here at Night Terror, creatives, visionaries, and storytellers are still pushing on. We are strong and united. We have a community through our shared love of horror, and that is powerful. We are excited to share with you an issue full of thought-provoking hope, interviews with small business owners, and great recommendations to build up your summer TBR and watch list.
