Here at Night Terror Magazine, our entire mission is rooted in the amplification of underrepresented voices in horror. As we honor Black Heritage Month, we dive deep into the rich, complex tapestry that makes up Black horror. The collision of folklore, history, and culture creates some of the most thought-provoking and complex narratives in the genre. In this month’s issue, we celebrate the resilience, creativity, and innovation of Black voices. From trailblazing authors to emerging creatives, we’re shining a spotlight on those who have shaped—and continue to shape—the gut-pulverizing tales that often illuminate unbelievable terrors of the past, present, and future. We present to you a tantalizing blend of legacy and the power of Black storytelling through a beautiful and thought-provoking issue!

We are blood thirsty fiends, chomping at the bit to finally share with you our exclusive interview with horror author, Tananarive Due! As a leading voice in horror and speculative fiction, Tananarive has influenced generations of readers and writers. In this issue, she offers a look into her creative process, her exploration of fear, and the vital role of Black voices shaping the genre.

In addition, we’re proud to spotlight an up and coming creator in the community! You’re not going to want to miss A.R.C.A.N.E. A new one-of-a-kind project from Dédric Cherry (known within his Organization as HAINT.sys)! Their contributions are redefining horror and its rapidly growing cultural impact.
