NIGHT TERROR: November's "Of the Land" Issue Out Now!

We are honored to present to you Night Terror Magazine: OF THE LAND. This is our 7th issue to date, and we have amazing creators in this issue who we are honored to work with this month. We have a wonderful and moving centerfold interview with Tiffany Morris, an L’nu’skw (Mi’kmaw) author from Nova Scotia. Her novella, Green Fuse Burning, is the perfect accompaniment to our land issue; please be sure to check it out! Our Graveyard Shift columnists, Gabe and Kat from The Ghouls Next Door, share a beautiful insight into the film Slash/Back. We are so grateful for their contributions and dedication to reviewing horror media through a critical, academic lens.

The soil beneath our feet holds more than roots and stones—it is the home of stories, whispers, secrets, and memories. In this issue of Night Terror Magazine, we dig deep into the earth that sustains us, exploring the unsettling truth that terror blooms blood red from the very ground we call home. Our connection with the land is dynamic. We are its children and its unwitting trespassers. Indigenous People, both here in the States and globally, have long lived in harmony with the Earth. As you read the pages ahead we urge you to listen closely to the mourning of a wounded world that demands our immediate care and our reckoning. The wisdom from Native owners of this land remind us that the horror we read and watch pale in comparison to our current reality.

This issue means a lot to us. Community has always been the foundation of our mission. We will continue to be a voice of resistance against hate and oppression.
